Home Depot Pitch Model

Home Depot Pitch Model

The Challenge

Our client needed a presentation-grade pilot model for a meeting with a Home Depot builder. Their problem was that home buyers couldn’t picture if their furniture — like a bed — would fit into the rooms, or understand circulation and layout properly from 2D plans. This slowed decisions and created uncertainty among builders.

The NEST Model Solution

We built a 25 × 18 inch model with a solid wooden frame for durability and presence. The design included a removable roof so the entire interior could be seen at once, solving common layout questions like whether furniture would fit and how rooms connected.

Each space was fully furnished to scale, showing beds, sofas, and tables in their real proportions. To add context, we included cars in the garage around the building. The goal was to give both buyers and stakeholders an immediate, intuitive understanding of the plan.

The client placed the order on September 10th, and the finished model was shipped and delivered on October 1st.

Results

The model transformed abstract plans into a clear, interactive experience. Buyers and stakeholders could immediately visualize how rooms worked, eliminating questions about fit and flow. The added detail — from interiors to exterior touches — built trust and gave our client a stronger, more persuasive presentation.
